Admissions Guidelines


School Schedule

The session begins each year in the first week of April. The school functions from Monday to Saturday from 7:55 a.m. to 01:35 p.m. School schedule may be changed in winter season.


Scheme of Examination and Evaluation

  1. Two main examinations-Half yearly and Annual are held in September and March. The two unit tests-Unit Test I and Unit Test II are held in the first week of June and December respectively, there is one project work/assignment before Half Yearly and one before Annual Examination.
  2. Maximum marks per subject for Half Yearly and Annual examination are 100, for unit Test 50. To pass, a student needs at least 40% in each subject.


Salient Features

The school is a co-educational Day-Cum-Boarding school with a student teacher ratio of 20:1. Personal attention is paid to each and every student with stress on discipline, team spirit and human values.


Promotion Detention

Attendance of students must not be below 75% for promotion to the next higher class. A student is required to fulfill requisite pass percentage. The Principal reserves the right to award or modify promotion policy.


School uniform

School uniform is a of vital importance for the students. It encourages simplicity, group living, cleanliness, etiquette, feeling of equlity and a sense of awareness among them. Whenever the students come to school, they are supposed to be in the school uniform or the dress prescribed for the occassion.
School uniform will be provided at reasonable cost.

Miscellaneous

Hostlers are not to bring valuables to the hostel. The school authority is not responsible for any loss or theft.



Rules


Rules for School Bus/Van Commuters

  1. The buses/van will pickup the students from the allotted bus-stop and drop them after the school hours at stops.
  2. The bus/van will not wait for the late commers. The commuters are expected to be at their stop 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
  3. The children should stay peacefully and away from the main road till the Bus/van arrives.
  4. Students will be held responsible for any damage caused to the bus/van due to their negligence.
  5. Students availing bus/van facility will deposit their bus/van charges in advance along with other school charge & fee.
  6. Students cannot with draw their names from the bus facility int he current-session.
  7. If a students wants to discontinue the bus/van facility, he/she will have to deposit one month extra charge and one month prior notice.
  8. Parents/guardians are requested to refrain from breaking into any argument with any staff on busroute. In case of any grievance regarding bus/van service or behaviour of any staff should be made to the transport in-change or in school office.
