Dew Harvesting
Dew occurs in arid areas frequently and in large amounts but has never before been harvested for human
Dew season is eight month long and spans the entire dry part of the year. This makes dew especially useful source of water. R&D work over several years led to development of affordable dew condensers made of plastic which can collect 20 – 30 mm of dew water over the season. This is nearly 10 % of the annual rain. Dew harvest systems can be built over roofs - condenser-on-Roof (CoR) or over ground condenser-on-Ground (CoG) or mounted on frames - condenser-on-frames (CoF).
