Yash Navnath More is currently a 4th grader at Kedavani Trust Vidyalaya. His father, Navnath More, and mother, Sonalben More, succumbed to HIV in 2006 and 2009 respectively. Yet, Yash remains strong and driven, and aspires to become a cricket player.
Losing one’s parents at such a young age is tough. Being discriminated is even harder. But with the support of his maternal Uncle Manojbhai and Aunt Pushpaben, Yash has been able to power through life. In spite of being in very poor financial conditions, Manojbhai and Pushpaben took responsibility of Yash in addition to their own son.
Together, Manojbhai and Pushpaben make $_____, which is not enough to pay for their son and Yash’s education combined. Hence, they approached Savera. Savera was able to connect Yash to a sponsor, who made it possible for Yash to continue studying with his old friends while pursuing his dreams.
