Owing to the resort’s strategic location, the lush and bountiful Rajaji National Park is just a boat ride away from its private bank. This wildlife sanctuary is home to 23 species of mammals and 315 species of birds. Some of the prominent species found in the park include Asian elephants, tiger, king cobra, panther, bear, chital, sambar, wild boar, python, monitor lizard and many more. The majestic Ganges flows through the National Park for a distance of 24km, besides innumerable streams and brooks that dot the landscape.

The National Park is open to the public between 15th November and 15th June every year. Hotel Ganga Kinare arranges jungle jeep safaris for its guests, which involves a 34 km safari trail passing through undulating terrain, lush green valleys, river beds, and sprawling grasslands. Be sure to carry your camera and binoculars to capture some exotic wildlife!
